a contemporary retro-modern sideboard

the concept began as an experiment to rebrand the perception of "flat-pack" furniture to individuals with an eye for minimalism and functionality,
with the styling I had the aim of generating a hybrid style between the Memphis and Bauhaus design movements. The design is modular, shelving, wineracks and drawers clip onto the body to prefference.
Built from 18mm ply and pierced
by aluminum square-tubing for support. Flat-packable and joined using "knock-down" fixtures. Cost-efficiency is at the forefront of this design.
